I work in IT, it gets boring once you've completed the internet. I was hoping for some good sites or something though.

Actually do some work! Use your initiative and see what is missing in the company.

I use to work for an animation/digital film company as director/producer. My department is pretty much right below the supervisor/CEOs in the company. There are project gaps which last for few days every 1 to 2 month, so we get to play L4DII/CS/Warcraft in our own office. When we are bored of the games we'd just watch all the latest HD movie that's available on our server. When the supervisors/CEO goes on business trip, we just become our own boss. Work was actually something I look forward to everyday

This is pretty much me. I have a boss but he doesn't really have a boss - and we're very good mates. We get everything done that is needed plus more. Everyone in the company is very impressed with all the work we do. I can't sit and watch a 3 hour movie though as it would appear to be taking the pee.

Needs to be something I can do/keep to myself really.

www.w3schools.com is where you want to learn web dev languages. At least it's where to start.

Places like stumbleupon aren't bad either. Once you get up and running it does a pretty good job cyphering through the crap and getting the interesting stuff.
