Battlefield Bad Company 2 - How to remove head bob

Hi guys

I've just got BF BC2 and pretty much as soon as I started playing it, an old problem I suffer from reared it's ugly head. Head bob in games make me feel sick pretty quickly.

Usually in games it can be removed by either tweak or mod. Is this possible in BC2? It would be a shame to miss out on playing it. I don't really understand why they have to put it into games

Not possible as far as I know, as it would give an advantage over those with it on.

I did not like it initially, but you will get used to it.

I played a game of BF2 last week and thought it was really odd without head bobbing. Does not seem right anymore.

Head bobbing is all good.

No it is not , myself i have a diagnosed inner ear inbalance and head bobbing will make me sick. It makes you feel like you've had a few drinks and starting to go tipsy. Stop playing and walking it off won't stop it

Aye it's something I've always had with FPS games. Head bob and low frame rates give me nausea. Looks like I won't be able to play this then

The headbob isn't that bad in this game tbh. I have really bad reactions to blur/bob/fov in 3d games but BFBC2 has never had that effect.

edit: re-read the OP... Sounds sucky :/ Perhaps just try increasing FOV via the settings .ini file to see if that helps reduce the effect?

How is it lame if he knows the motion won't agree with him ?

Some people can suffer from motion sickness, etc... in pc games due to the fov / camera movement, as this thread has shown.
