Slight problem guys i forgot what insurance company im with i have no letters or that so how can i find out what insurance company im with.

You should have a scheadual of insurance.

Internet banking? Phone the bank and ask for printouts? Did you pay outright or monthly direct debit? etc?

surely you keep your certificate of insurance in a safe place?

unless you have access to M.I.D there is no easy way to find out unless you have statements or a letter, could try ringing every insurance company and ask them to search by registration

Surely things like your insurance certificate are important, so you keep them safe?

I dont really understand how you can just forget who your bought the policy from either...the mind boggles

it's important, but a lot of insurance companies just email you the policy and say "print this, that's it".

in which case go to email account.

Ive never just been emailed my insurance policy and told to print it out :confused:

all my certificate of insurance letters are stored in a folder incase i ever need them, be silly not to do this.

Tried few things and cant seem to find who im with again not like me i usualy keep everything girlfriend put it in bin, i will just go with new insurance company on new car and just take new policy or wotever.

Swiftcover don't even email it to you, you download a PDF from the website.

Managing to forget who you spent hundreds of pounds with a few months ago and then just going and getting a new policy? I really worry about young people these days, the fact some of them manage to tie their shoelaces let alone drive a car safely is nothing short of a miracle

hope its not an automatic renewal they work on, otherwise your going to be paying for two policies :rolleyes:
