Just got back home after a nobber in a Silver BMW 4x4 decided that driving in the right hand (oncoming traffic) lane was more his style.

It was a full bore feet on brakes, ABS banging, rear end squirming (the car's AND mine), horn blasting, swearing time.

We must have missed by inches.

Thank god I already have Tan leather, the extra brown wont be noticed.

Yeah, sorry I forgot that about German cars, not to mention the main manufacturers below
:p

had exact same thing happen to me this morning.

what was odd was he didnt just drift into my lane, he drove precisely into my lane and stayed there heading towards me :/

Can you sort out the bus drivers for us? They've been forcing me into oncoming traffic while moving off lately. I'm close to getting out and tearing their mirrors off.
I take it buses moving out of a bus stop don't have right of way in the UK? :p

Give way to the bus, or something like that is in the highway code, yes.

Generally, I do. It just annoys me that many (especially London busses) don't bother to check their mirrors prior to pulling out. :(

I would imagine thats because especially around me if the bus doesnt pull out it will be sat there all day, no one gives way. They just have to go for it.

@ OP, a few inches is better than none at least!

Recently (well, last couple of years) it seems that they use the excuse that no one lets them out to just barge their way out even if you are already passing before they put their indicators on.
