I've just received my new imac 27" 2.93 core i7, and I just wanted to share my joy!!! it's so fast and the screen is great (although I already have the dell u2711 sitting right next to it) I actually prefer the imac screen, the dell seems to have a slightly pinkish tinge to it!

Anyway I am putting it though its paces and it's FAST!! I love it!
 
i've got a Quadcore i5 mac and its more than enough speedwise. Rips through video encoding in iLife09

The 27" screen is a delight isnt it ? :)
 
I've got one of the new 15" MacBook Pro's with high ress anti glare screen, it's beautiful and a joy to look at, however was at my friends who's just recieved his new iMac 27" and it's a thing of art.

Stunning peice of design. Enjoy.

I'm after one now :p left my Macbook sleep and just watched him use the iMac.

Yes it certainly is!! I did have a core 2 duo 27" when they came out but subsequently sold it and bought a macbook Pro 17 (I needed it for work) but the i7 is substantially snappier than the old core 2 duo model, well impressed!
