Looking online rather than paying Halfrauds prices. Has anyone bought numberplates recently that can recommend? Don't mind supplying documents obviously

Find someone that doesn't do the nasty new sticker ones, try and find someone who does thye proper pressed plates. The stickers start peeling and bubbling.

Acrylic for the win. I guess then a local motor factors is ok

No because then you get BOBS DISCOUNT CAR PARTS on your plate, which looks fail.

Just go back to the dealer you got the car from and they will do you plates for 9 quid each! How much cheaper do you want?!

You are driving a £20,000 car and you want to ***** it up with cheapo factor plates to save like 10 quid? Seriously dude :p

It's the mindset of a diesel driver. :( :p

Even a mk4 Cortina shouldn't have pressed plates!

Fords look awful with pressed plates ;)
