Hi all, I purchased the Logitech G35 around 13 months ago and in that time I have been very impressed with the sound quality and general build quality of the headset... I have just noticed they do a wireless version which appeals to me not having a wire / lead.

Ayway actually using one of these??? if you are have you had any issues at all???
cheers all

re:

I`ll reply to my own post;)

Been using this headset for a few days now and they have been great!:) I thought the G35 was good but these are better:cool:
Basically the sounds and mic appear even better.
I was a little worried about possible latency at first but they have been a 100% responsive...
Quality Headphones!:)
Cheers

Awesome, I'm thinking of picking these up next week, but I want to know, because it's connected via USB dongle, will the sound still be processed by a sound card if you have one installed?

I have a Asus Xonar which I absolutely love, and I have my Z5500's hooked up to. I would primarily use these for evening gaming or whenever I can't have the speakers active, but I want to maintain the great sound quality provided by the sound card.

Anybody have any idea about this?

Windows, although can have multiple sound devices connected, can only use 1 default. Removing the headset dongle should revert back to the previous default device, in this case your sound card. As long as the headset is connected, Windows will use that with whatever audio is played. There are programs and media players that can select their own sound device, Winamp can do this AFAIK. VOIP programs can too, Skype etc. Most programs will use the default though.
