Link: Coolermaster CM-690 II Lite Dominator Case - Black

I cannot find any documentation or even proof of it's existence anywhere, not even the Coolermaster website!

Mine should be arriving in about an hour and I will update this thread on what it is, and what's different about it compared to the Advanced... I still don't understand why if it's an official release it isn't listed on the Coolermaster website.

I emailed ocUK support:

Hello, I have just ordered: Coolermaster CM-690 II Lite Dominator Case - Black

Link: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-212-CM&groupid=701&catid=7&subcat=29

However I can not find any documentation on this case what-so-ever. I have looked through all the CM-690 Cases on the official Coolermaster website and sadly this case does not exist.

I'm just wondering if it isn't a typo of this case: Coolermaster CM-690 II Advanced Dominator Case

Link: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-196-CM&groupid=701&catid=7&subcat=29

Their specifications according to ocUK are almost identicle. However the price is not, so I'm just getting a bit worried that I have ordered a case that isn't what ocUK says it is, or if it's just an innocent database or human error.

The images look the same, and as I said I'm quite worried my order will come tomorrow and the case is something totally different from what I have seen in the images on ocUK.

Thank you!

Dear Johnathan,

Thank you for your webnote.
I am unsure why Cooler Master do not have it on their site but the basic difference with the "Lite" is that it has less fans and no VGA holder.

Regards,

Adrian Carpenter

I will as I said, update you on this thread if I find out anything else.

hi Jhonathan

Adrian is correct, there is very little difference in all of the dominator range. - they all have the same manuals as essentially they are the same case

Well it's a relief that there isn't much difference. I liked the case because of the black interior and the fans. I think I'll drop Coolermasters an email and complain >:|

Edit: Just sent Coolermaster an email, there was a lot of Bold involved. >_>

I'll update this thread if they email back ^^

I don't understand why you are kicking off at coolermaster from removing the case from there site.

It's not like there is a problem with yours is there?

It's just arrived (Great service ocUK <3)

It's the basic version (Just CM-690 II, not Lite :P)

I'm happy with the purchase and now can't wait for more stuff to go on sale so I can buy Mobo/RAM/CPU/GPU/PSU ^^

could have told you it was the basic version from the off, its not that hard to figure out??
its ocuk's fault if anything not CM's so the email was unneccessary.

I know that now. But it's not just ocUK that have called this "Lite" so when I google'd it; and it showed up other stores selling this "Lite" version, then went to the website I assumed it was a real version. Apparently not :P

Email them and tell them you're sorry. Really don't see why you got angry in the first place

I didn't get angry. I got annoyed at the fact that I thought they released a product without any information or documentation on their own website.

I don't like buying products when there is a lack of support.

(Which there clearly was not, and I have emailed them an apology ^^)
