Stolen Macbook Pro, any "tracking software"?

A good friend has had his MBP stolen recently and I was wondering whether there is any software that can be installed to help trace and recover a stolen machine? I know its a little late now but for future reference it would be a great help.
Similar to the remote wipe that most smrtphones have...considering the macbook has an isight camera you could take snapshots of or monitor the thief/ves and send the data back. Physically locating it might be hard though.
He might have Mobile Me installed and running, can that do any of this?

I recently found out about prey and it is great for free. I tested the app and it located the exact street I was using my computer from, I must say I was impressed.

Well unfortunately it can't do that, but it gives you a range of street numbers. It also gives you a picture of the suspect so you could leave the rest to the police or do your own stake-out.

Thanks for the heads up. Will advise him to use this next time and I'll be installing it myself!
