Talking to a friend on facebook just now that is in Amsterdam with another friend. Stumpy the friend who has gone missing is known for making the most out of situation (to put it one way)

What would you do in this situation? he could be dead/hospital/arrested!

I know of someone that went missing on holiday. I have the link to it. I'll leave it at that.
 
Hope he's ok, but sounds like a PITA. Annoys me when you have to look after other people who can't organise themselves.
 
a) I'd cancel my debit card.

b) I'd leave all his stuff at the hotel along with his passport.

c) I'd get my plane home and wash my hands of the situation.

To be fair, it's not always that simple, he is a mate regardless of how much of a numpter he is. If I were in that situation I would prob call the local authorities to be on the safe side.
 
1. check out on time, bring his stuff out of the room, leave it at reception along with his passport
2. go home on the flight as scheduled
3. cancel you debit card upon arrival at home
4. never be as stupid as to give someone your card, and YOUR PIN NUMBER!

What an absolute idiot.
