Hi there

I have the above phone (V 4.6) and I've downloaded the "Storm Today / Dual Sliding Dock" theme.

Since I've done this I'm not getting any notification noise when i get a text message or email. I've tried resetting everything under profiles and tried reverting back to the original default theme but I'm still getting the same issue.

Anyone else encountered this or have any suggestions in order to resolve this issue please?

Have you tried re-booting the phone??...pull the battery out for about 30 secs then put it back in.

Is it just texts and email notifications that arent working??...does all your other notifications work??.

Thanks for the swift reply Spawn.

Yes it is just texts that aren't giving me the notification noise, pulled the battery out as you suggested and it's done the trick.

Cant believe I never thought to try that :o

Thanks Spawn :)

No problem...if you ever have any problems then usually a battery pull does the trick:).

You can download a free app from the bb appworld app called Quickpull, which allows you to set a time and date for the phone to automatically reboot the phone ie simulates a battery pull but without you having to take the battery out yourself.

Any reason you've not updated to v5.0 ?

Thanks for the link - tried that but I get a message advising my current (V4.6.1.314) is the latest and there's no other one available. I'm guessing that's something I'll either have to take up with BB or T Mobile?

Downloaded - thanks again :D

Again no problems...if you want to download OS5 then you dont have to wait for your network to issue it for your device.

Go to crackberry and have a look in the forum section...they usually have the latest OS in there.
