Also killboy your so right dude, the graphics is crap and 3d screens are totally old tech, i mean there on every device now init......ermmm no. seriously OLD tech? how exactly, the graphics are clearly around gamecube standard, the screen is 3d and the device is tiny.

Also i will bet you all 5 quid that the 'Dock' is a wireless powermat like charger.
 
Yes video looked impressive. Cant say I have the patience or time to play on a handheld these days, so probably won't be getting one myself, but no doubt the kids will want one................................. each :(

Not a chance.

£200, I'd say, at most.

The original DS launched for 15,000 Yen in Japan and £99.99 in the UK. If the new one is costing 25,000 Yen in Japan, then there is no way that it will cost over £200 here, and may in fact cost closer to £150-170.
 
Sony will be breathing a sigh of relief after hearing that price, plenty of room for them to manoeuvre with when they price the inevitable PSP2.

It says it comes with a 2gb SD card, is there anything on built in storage?
 
I'm worried about the gulf in graphics quality between the Resident Evil games and the Ridge Racer game shown in the above video. What if most of the game are of the same visual quality as Ridge Racer?

It does look good though and for once it's a Nintendo console with enough games to keep me interested, I'm not a fan of Mario, or these quirky little games like Cooking Mama so Metal Gear Solid, Resident Evil and Street Fighter are all very welcome in my point of view. :)
 
The games look fantastic in particular Res Evil. But I hope there will be some good proper games on it and not some crayon or virtual pet type games that has plagued the original DS. I have the DS lite and I haven't even played on it for almost 1.5 years due to the lack of quality games.
 
I wouldnt worry about Ridge Racer, from what ive seen its a port of a i phone game, like any games console when its released you will get cheap cash in's and the 3DS will not be exempt from this.

Yeah its about what im thinking, but there will be a pack in game i expect. Thought the specs would be some what more impressive TBH, not in the same league as the new ipod touch or the newer Droids. It wont matter though as its the games and the 3D thats going to sell this to the most people. Now lets see what Apple, and more so Sony bring to the party next year.

I don't know, where are these iphone games that are better looking than res evil on the 3ds?
