Best Co-op games

What is the most fun you've had in co-op?

I recently completed Halo Reach co-op with my 5 yr old and we had a blast together.

Also completed the new Super Mario Bros, which was also lots of fun..

What other games can you recommend for co-op?
 
Having just spent 3 hours with a mate on Dead Rising 2 and barely being able to breathe for laughing the whole time, I can recommend that. :D

(not local co-op though, online with voice chat)
 
rock n roll racing on the snes.

halo 2 with my bro, split screen.

halo 2 with mate trying to get a warthog thru the entire mission in some levels, using explosives to force it through doors, getting them through entire buildings down corridors etc was fun.
 
Best co-op experiences ive had on Live so far are Borderlands, Saints Row 2 and even Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradise (dont knock it!).

Edit: Bugger, SR2 and VP are both Live I think.

You mean Halo 1 with the warthogs yeah? Everyone loved doing that, me included :)

It couldn't be done in later games because the warthogs could blow up :(

There's a lot of tiny little charms Halo 1 had that the rest of the series still lack, Reach included. The vehicle physics & indestructibility on the warthogs were some of them. Other little nuggets like plasma burns staying on walls and rocks crumbling down mountainsides after an explosion too... I'm slowing going into offtopic nostalgia mode here. :p
 
any co op games games worth getting for a woman to play ? currently trying to blag my other half that we NEED a 360 slim lol , would be good to invest in a game that we could both play once we'd bought the slim
 
how has it got this far without Little Big Planet being mentioned, one of the best Co-op (and multiplayer) games available.

Really ? I'll have to check that one out... I own it but never play it. I really bought it for the kids but the reading and puzzles were a little too complicated at the time. Perhaps that's changed now.

I have Final Fight on Capcom Classics and completed that with my 3yr old last yr. Actually it was his favorite game for a while. Funny enough he fired it up yesterday and completed it once again all by himself..

I have to respectfully disagree, LBP is one of those games that for some inexplicable reason always has a bunch of hot air around it; it's actually in fact a pretty mediocre game. Sony just keeps tooting its horn incessantly about it.

lego star wars, lego batman, lego indiana jones, my gf loves these. she doesnt love that i track achievements and try to get max i can as we go along :p
