Elbow grease rules

Got the wet & dry out and the polish to my case,as its only brushed all it was easy to do but the other parts where a right pain .
Gona have to buy a sander to do the big panels.

1/Stock MM drivebay plate
2/Lamptron Fan Controller FC5
3/Coolermaster front bezel for DVD/CD drive.

Looks good - I feel your sanding-related pain.. Just been sanding lots of aluminium myself. Were you using a sanding block? What grit did you go down to?

Come on then, what grades did you go through to get to there?

I also feel your pain after polishing the motherboard tray on my old A70B. That was several hours work on its own.

No block but ive ordered one for the big panels

The grit it got down to was 2000

no need really 1500 would have done .

nice end result and it looks good too... finger prints would be my main issue with this look though grrr.

The above panels took 3 days about 3 hrs a day.

Autoglym Metal Polish but ive been reading about mothers mag alloy paste its ment to be very good,found some in the uk it`s about £17 delivered for a small tub.
