Looks good. 600 quid on discs, is that just the front then?

My Audi just came back from the dealer - £265 for front discs and pads. I feel robbed.

Yea thats just the front, its a 1200 quid job in Maserati main dealer.

That is very nice Mark, you got a bargain there and a nice example too.

What does a yearly service (I assume it is yearly) cost on these cars, assuming it needs nothing much doing to it?

these things aren't too bad day to day, its when something goes wrong the big cash has to be flashed, the 360 I had use of was left to stand for 4 months whilst we were in New York, engine seized - £17.5k for the rebuild

Yeah, it must be quite nasty if that happens :(

Thats the down side of any car like this isnt it, its not buying them its the possible 10k bill if you have a disaster.

Mark, i would be very interested in a small "review", pointing out real life living experiences with the car once you are a month or so into your ownership. I have been pondering over one of these for a while, it would make good reading for me.

Well, I wish you all the best with yours and hope you avoid any potential disasters! :p

I'l be shot of it in a few months its not my cup of tea at all to be honest.

Its lacking in head room and the ride is too hard.

Also that wonky gearbox i can see me having all sorts of fun with :)

You wont like it, i tell you now.

You put it in auto, then pull the right hand paddle to get it going, the gear change is not smooth like an auto but it does smooth out when you boot it.

It rolls back on hills uness you put your foot on the brake or accelerator, which is basically then slipping the clutch (a costly business to replace)

That skyhook suspension forget that in sport mode, it feels like you aint got any tyres on the rims.

You got this funny little gear selector (which i must admit is novel) that you lift up and pull back to go in reverse. Its just not a proper auto.

Fast as **** in a straight line though :) Mental engine noise too.

I have driven various Ferrari F1 boxes, i assume this is one of them? Would really love to see it at some point, maybe at a future meet or something if you still have it?

I think its probably just me and the fact im past sports cars with that harshness, its cruisers all the way from here on in i think :)

But saying that im not sure where this things place in life is, because a Ferrari it is not, nor is it some Merc CL / Jag XK rival.

In fact now iv had a few drinks and thinking about they are ****ing rubbish, and i dont like it at all, if it wasnt cheap or if i wasnt losing the plot i would never have bought it, silly Italians should have just made a proper auto box. :)

Now my world is complete :)

Go on Fox this is where you post lol ;)

When I was looking at them I viewed it as something akin to an Italian M3. Not saying it was better, just different I guess. Similar running costs.

who cares if you like it or not though, its already a shrewd investment so it can sit there and look as ugly as it likes, drive like a dog, never quite be a ferrari and still make you money
