You can't do the GK Arena challenges unless your are a GK, just go into your VP and change his posistion.

As for the long range volley stand just outside the box keep the ball up and flick it to the side of your strongest foot then just hammer it in.

Might take you a couple of goes but this is how I done it in Fifa 10 so should still work in 11, hopefully! :D
 
Can you have two Virtual Pros in Fifa 11, one for outfield and one for keeper, or do you need to keep swapping positions around? Seems a bit daft if you build up all your outfield stats then have to use him in goal if you fancy a season as a keeper.

Ah didn't realise i could change his position after i made him :D

I'll try that volley thing, makes more sense! i was kicking the ball to the keeper and getting him to overarm throw it then whacking it mid air (basically i was wishing for a 10,000:1 chance of scoring :p)

Doesn't say how long the offer at Tesco is for. The Asda price ends on 3rd October.

Just reserved my copy at Asda for £29.97. Will be picking it up at midnight.

Seems every shop in Stratford is opening at midnight tonight for it. :D

There seems to be a load of hate on the EA forums about the new update. Apparently the game was great until the update yesterday, but now Pro Passing can be turned off and the game speed has increased.

Can anyone with the game confirm or are they talking rubbish?

Personally I like the sound of the game speed being turned up a notch. I think the pro passing thing couldnt be turned off in ranked matches? I dont have the game but from reading back in the forum that seems to be the case.

Nothing new that would put me off...except actually getting to a shop at midnight. Might have to wait until Friday evening and hope they still have the offers on :(
 
Seems like this is the situation with the supermarkets: (Please delete if I have broke any rules for posting supermarket names)

According to MCV all leading supermarkets are getting in on the action, with prices starting at only 97p.

You'll have to part with a new release to get the 97p price, though. Trade-in Halo: Reach, Dead Rising 2 or F1 2010 at ASDA and FIFA 11 will be yours for under a quid. Alternatively, ASDA will be also selling the game for £29.97 with no qualifying criteria.

The cheapest non-trade-in price appears to be Sainsbury's which is offering the game at only £24.97 when you spend £30 or more on other items in store.

Tesco is matching the Sainsbury's price, but you'll also need to snap up another chart title to get the deal. Morrisons has the same promotion, albeit with a slightly higher £27.99 price attached to the game."

I am sure they wait until people have done their weekly shop :(
 
been a very long time since I last posted here, after reading the new competitor rules it looks likes its ok to discuss morrisons

Just been to do a quick shop and asked the girl at the counter

36.99 by itself

OR 26 / 29 ish (cant remember the exact price) if you buy another chart game

Not a fantastic deal to be honest
