Repair Costs for Dents...

Hey guys soooo the missus reversed into a car last night (Argh!) but thankfully it wasn't THAT bad. Our car is fine just a few scrathes whereas the other car (a corsa) had a big dent in its back panel. (I will post a picture up later on tonight). Anyways I agreed with the other driver to just pay off the cost of repair with a quotation from a garage and they have quoted £270 with warranty (lucky for the other driver eh?) Just wondering what you guys think of this? £270 to repair a big dent??

yeah..? TBH I was actually thinking that might be a bit of rip off (but I don't know much about body work costs)

Well anywhere half decent want at least 200 quid per panel to paint it, thats without removing the dent.

I'd throw the money at them and get them to sign a done-and-dusted-no-longer-my-problem agreement ASAP. That's a bargain!

ADVICE: Don't give ur women big cars on their own! LOL
