Well I'm sure some of you might have noticed that Fox's post count is about to tick over a rather questionably impressive 100k

hated by some loved by many he is one of the reasons I still post on this forum, if I can't be arsed to read a thread I'll skim through to fox's post/opinion and move to the next thread!

His stubbornness, unwavering dedication to a marque, dry dry wit, follow the sun posting capability and limitless capability to recall the smallest details are just some of the things that make him an OcUK household name/dartboard target!

No idea if this will sink or swim (as I have posted it, sink most likely) but I'd like to dedicate a thread to the most marmite poster in the motors forum.

if we could take some time to ridicule him for spending half his life on here, recall some of his finest/lowest moments, greatest/worst quotes and hopefully end up with this thread being closed by a great big KB warrior tete a tete I feel that would be rather befitting!

I too agree, I haven't used the forums long but I always respect Foxs posts mainly because they combine common sense with factual knowledge and dry humour. Praise from me is probably not worth much to you, but I too salute you sir.
 
At times, I firmly believe Fox has come up with a fantastic human/computer bio-electro link which uploads BMW data straight to his brain. Over the years he has modified it to upload all motors posts, with a fantastic indexing system to boot.

Congrats (?) on your impending 100,000 posts of doom. I'm another person that reads your posts with interest, regardless of opinion.

I find his posts generally quotes from wiki, I guess thats a good thing.. Fox is kind of a wiki neural automated interface

Think 'ask jeeves' except more annoying, as 'ask jeeves' is often wrong :D
 
He's an integrated google search function within OcUK forums with a healthy dose of realism/sarcasm.
(That's not a criticism)
 
I find it amusing that people get wound up by him so much. Most of time he posts common sense only to have some twerp get into a no but yea but no discussion, which then gets all personal when they've realised the error of their ways. Every forum needs a gobby sod that gives it a voice. He obviously has too much time being one of them scummy kids we oldens call stoodents, well for much of his time here at least and he is also a 40 year old in a 16 year olds body. This biggest surprise was he has a girlfriend so is even getting the ride when many of you are battling your keyboards.

Here's to another 100,000 posts, get a life mind! ;)
 
I didnt like him at first but he has grown on me, salute mate.

All in all, I probably marmite with fox constantly. No doubt he knows his stuff and love his bluntness. Then sometimes the bluntness isn't required and it makes my blood boil.

100k posts, worrying :P
 
Fox wouldn't post here if he didn't like being marmite :p

Love him or hate him he's one of the things that makes this forum fun to read and post on.
A lot of people think he's an ass, but when he is wrong he openly admits it (as seen yesterday) :)

Keep up fella :)
