MP3 playback on my dead grans car.

Dont you should be thinking about mourning instead of speccing up a car that you have just got from your dead gran a few hours ago?

Why should he? Don't get me wrong, my gran died and I cried for about six months. We were super close. But I was only a kid.

The OP sounds like he's barely seen his gran (compared to me literally living with mine), and she's had a super long life, whizzing around the world on her travels and living it up. She's had a cracking innings, crying won't change it. Celebrate rather than mourn and all that. I can see where he's coming from.

Bear in mind though, grief affects us all very differently. Not only that but he didn't say when she passed on. I didn't see him give a time frame, especially not hours...

Its been over a year since she passed. The car has been sat in my GD garage.

Thanks Rainmaker. Honestly my gran would laugh at the thread title. She had a superb life and a great sense of humour. It was what I was thinking about when I wrote the title.
 
You can (I think) still get those Fm transmitters. So you plug transmitter into MP3 and then tune radio to that set frequency.

You can then duck tape (from left overs from girl kidnapping) your MP3 to your steering wheel for easy access :)

Sorry for some reason my brain is trying to link this thread to Jeremy Clarksons prostitue murdering truck driver comments :)

If you don't have a line-in option on the head unit then you can use an adapter for the CD changer input instead.
 
How the Hell do they think up these topic title names ?

For a fleeting moment I had visions of the topic creators dead Gran comunicting to him through his car's MP3 player. :p
