Hello all,

For some reason I've been playing a lot of this lately, it's quite addicting a a refreshing change from brown-town FPS games that are on the horizon:

Non-referral link: http://www.battlefieldheroes.com/

We both get free stuff if you get to level 7 using the referral link & it'll add me to friends. I will be on tonight about 6-9, Frapple on Steam :).

Free Battlefunds:

700 if you own Bad Company 2:

...and another 700 by registering at the EA Gun Club:

Should be enough to get you a couple of 'unlimited' guns at level 10 (slightly better than the level 1 versions)

Dr Pepper gave away from free outfits a few months ago, not sure if you'll still be able to get hold of some codes.

Used to play this, till people started buying the packs that came out and i was getting pretty much owned.

I play this at work in the lunch hour, have been doing for over a year and am now level 29 and getting closer to thirty. I am useless at the game and as I said play at work which is not the best PC or surroundings but it is a fun little game.

EDIT:-

I didn't know about the gun club! Thank you for the 700 Battlefunds (worth £4.50 of real money)!!!:)

Enjoyed playing this quite a while ago with the guys. We had loads of laughs with the planes, tanks and emotes!
It got a repetetive and we moved onto other games, but I understand there are a few more maps, so will give another go.

I played it quite a bit for over a few months last year (during the beta maybe). Quite a fun game for a short while, especially if your like me and a sucker for 'levelling up' also found it incredibly easy once you got a handle on the special abilities.

Got bored of playing it then a few months later was going to try it again but heard that they had totally gimped the purchasable weapons, so that they were no longer really (or at all) feasible to buy with the credits/exp you earn by playing and pretty much restricted to real money purchases. Where as before an hour or so of play and you'd have enough to unlock a weapon for a week. Is it still the same?

EDIT: Semiskimmed, try updating punkbuster manually via the punkbuster site.

Yes you really need to buy the better guns with real money as the standard default weapons are not so good. But following the link in Frapple's OP will get you 700 battlefunds which is enough to buy some better guns.
