A recipe for tagliatelle with sardines and prosciutto has proved a little too spicy for Penguin Australia, after a misprint suggesting that the dish required "salt and freshly ground black people" has left the publisher reaching for the pulping machine, rather than the pepper grinder. (The Grauniad)
Damned religion and racism!

I'd expect the books that have already been sent to stores to become collectors items of a kind, while it's a poor error from proofreaders to let through it's quite obviously not intended as a slight against anyone so pulping all the books seems rather a waste of time.

True, but it was in yesterday's Grauniad as well, in an article about books being pulped - I just couldn't be bothered to find that link.

However, just to keep you happy - LINK :)

You couldn't be bothered to find an up to date link which regurgiated a link you had already posted, and had indeed alreayd been reported on this forum some time ago.

Good work stockhousen.

Is there a way to set your profile to eliminate peoples posts? So any thread they create is invisible?
