Not really, it's not like he's a girlfriendless saddo who never goes out. He's done a US road trip and been to Australia in the past year alone hasn't he? How long does it seriously take to post on a forum - this has taken me about 20 seconds.

Thats the point a lot of people miss. Whilst the more detailed posts take a while, this one for example has taken 13 seconds.

I suspect many people have spent more time watching Coronation Street than I've spent typing in this box.

I try to spend as little time as possible watching broadcast tv, Coronation st ...urrhhh, along with the other soaps it's like most of the things I hate about modern Britain played out in 30 minutes ...over and over again.

I've had a few run ins with him and some good banter. I've had some good advice which I've taken on board and some bad advice that Ive not.

I, like many, don't understand why people get so worked up by him (or others for that matter). I don't think it's fair to judge someone based on forum posts alone so I'm reserving judgement till I've met him - it's a courtesy I'd hope would be reciprocated

Post counts go through phases anyway, mine has rocketed on here since i semi retired then got banned from driving.

You have a busy phase it drops, you sit about it goes up, it dosent mean its all you ever do does it.

It does when you are averaging 1000ish posts per month for 8 years

I know how much I read and post at work. Yeah it takes 20 seconds to write a post but that's if you don't consider the time it takes to read other peoples posts before jumping into a discussion.

When you consider the time browsing, reading others posts and then posting your own thoughts 1000 posts a month is mind blowing.

Even in the early days I thought this place wouldn't be the same without you Fox.

I do blame you fully for the Mondeo and BMW stance of this forum though. It's almost a BMW owners club forum these days.

You completely missed the point, the point was it doesn't just take seconds to post 35 posts per day on average. As I said I know how much of my working day posting on here has taken up and a bit of my free time.

Unless you come in and just post +1 which isn't the sort of posts he writes then a considerable part of his life is spent on here.

There is a big difference. Fox posts much more quality posts and probably in a much quicker fashion than this scrub dannyjo22 could ever hope to achieve.
