My partner is looking to buy an exercise bike. She wants to spend around £100 and will probably use it every couple of days whilst watching TV or something.

Can anyone recommend something? She doesn't want a bike as she would prefer to exercise in the warm and with the comfort of a TV. :p

I've seen a few on Argos but perhaps there is somewhere better to purchase from?

Aaaaaaaaand foldable! :p

Foldable static bike? Do they even exist?

Free ads will be your best option I think :)

Google images shows some horrible looking bikes!
:p

I have a York C202, which is neither folding nor around £100, but it is decent. It is seeing increasing use as the nights draw in and getting out on the bike grows less appealing. Using magnetic resistance means that it's pretty quiet too, which is nice for watching films or TV shows while using it.

Makes a handy clothes horse when not in use, too ;)

And they end up getting used for hanging clothes on.
Without my knowledge my girl friend bought a £100 exercise bike from Argos about a year ago. It's been used once for 5 mins and it's now sitting under the stairs with coats hanging on it.

A complete waste of money and space.

Like anything in the fitness arena, if you aren't the sort to carry on then you will waste your money. Be it exercise bike, gym membership or pair of trainers ;)
