New Zealand

Excellent as usual. First 5 are my favourites...it was hard to pick just the one. You travel a lot then I gather?

stunning images, 4, 5 and 9 stand out to me
Thank you :)

I used to travel a lot, but not much any more.

I love night shots like #4.

Was any PP required to bring the sky out in #8 and #9 ?
Thank you :)
8 and 9 are HDR shots.
I tried to PP them using either 1 exposure or 2 images blended as layers, but failed.

No. 8 was taken in near dark conditions, I couldn't see the ground or see to focus the camera.
HDR saved the day.

No. 4 was a single shot, exposed for the background (just luck), then a lot of PP to bring out the interior details.

really nice...maybe one day I will go and visit NZ by myself :)

Amazing, love 3 and the panoramics :)

Hoping to go there sometime next year :o
Where abous did you go?

Thank you both :)

The short answer to where I went is Cape Reinga to Invercargill, top of the North Island to the bottom of the South Island.
I always started in Christchurch, then headed South and then up the West Coast, crossed over on the ferry to the North Island and departed at Auckland.

My last journey back from NZ to UK, took 4 nine hour flights.

Some money savings tip:
I'm pretty sure I rented my hire car from here http://www.a2brentals.co.nz/
They are older cars i.e. not brand new, but they are a lot cheaper than other rental companies like Alamo etc.

When crossing from Island to Island I used www.bluebridge.co.nz/ as they were cheaper than the Inter Island Ferry company.
And offer the same service.

the wide angel shots are fantastic
Thank you :)

You like 'em wide, I like 'em thin :D

Wow, they are all fantastic. Only the last one I am not massively keen on as I don't really know what it is, but the rest of them are stunning. Fantastic work!

It is what is known as a Tiki - it's like a Polynesian/Maori version of a Totem pole. They have a great many meanings but I'd suggest that one has something to do with virility and strength of a warrior. It's not meant to be erotic but more as a demonstration of his manliness.

I'm sure you will see the similarities between the Tiki and this Maori warrior.

First rate as always. Numbers 1, 3 and 5 are my favourites- 5 in particular would make a spectacular large print. You could easily have your own print store (if you haven't already).

That was taking at Hamilton Gardens in Hamilton (North Island).

Thank you.

I don't print any of my photos, so owning a print store would be a waste of ink :D
