webuyanycar experience..

\o/ Flukester, you fail in every way. First the Hyundai and now this, please do continue to amuse us in motors with your threads of fail though. :)

I wouldn't do business with this company if for no other reasons than those bloody chaverts

You have to wonder if that add campaign actually helped or hindered, i suppose the company name sticks in the mind now.

As a brand awareness exercise it works a treat, as an aspirational brand I suggest not, but I also suspect the first element was most important. Bloody annoys the **** off me, it's instant channel change TV for me.

As i have got older adverts annoy me more and more, i now record everything so i can skip them, poxy things. not just that advert either, its all adverts now.

At last you've found someone else with the same hobby! ;)

:p

What he's wasted by not putting any effort into selling it was about what my Saab ownership cost me.

So hes gained a few hours of his time for a few hundred quid, I gained a few months ownership of a car i liked... That's before you remember the finance fail too!

Why didnt you just trade it in at Hyundai for the i10?

I tried, it was so bad though they wouldnt touch it... See we do think alike sometimes ;)

Some garages won't take nails as part ex, ever since scrapage ended. I'm guessing a main dealer wouldn't want a shed on forecourt.

i want to scoop your heart out with a spoon, whilst listening to that music in the background

nice and slowly, maximum pain, feel your flesh rip as the blunt spoon fails to cut your skin!!

a similar level of pain that my ears experience every time those ****s on dave sing in between TG episodes, the ****s I hate the most are the happy clapping singers in purple choir things, I utterly detest them and will actively attempt to kill them should I meet them in my life.

scum personified

utter scum

You're more than welcome to research A Class steering problems, I think you'll find the problem is widespread and the achillies heal of these cars.

The A class has a few achilles heels, and yes premature wear in the steering is one of them. It had several redesigns over it's design life, but the problems are worn racks (rumbling/grinding sensation) and worn columns (flex/play felt in the steering) - not sticking or cracking.

Either way, if the issue was significant enough to terrify the person who test drove the car, it's significant enough to have failed the MOT test. If the MOT centre is passing cars in a dangerous condition they need to be reported to VOSA.

It's a relatively simple procedure LINK which won't take long.

I think you should use the time you saved by selling to WBAC to report the testing station - after all, the safety of the general public is at risk with dangerous cars like your old one on the road.
