I've missed out on a lot of games over the past year or two, mainly lack of money or no interest in playing games.

I've now got a little bit of spare time and I've just bought three games;

Assassins Creed II
Burnout Paradise
Darkness

Came to the grand total of £21. Think they're good for the money?

Does anyone have any other suggestions?

Current games;
COD:MW
Farcry 2
Forza 2
PGR4
Fifa 09
GTA:Episodes

Good price for them 3 games mate :)

Im reallly enjoying F1 2010 at the min and also dead rising 2 :)

Yeah I bought them used ("very good condition/like new") through another site.

I've played the trial of DR2, quite liked it - but I have played the first one when it first came out but no longer have it.

F1 I've heard some worrying things about lap times etc and a few problems with AI?

I have a habit of buying new releases when they're 6 months - a year old and when they're used! Haha :p for some reason I'm quite tight when it comes to games.

There is a couple of niggles with lap times ect but they are being sorted, Here is the latest update from Codemasters

Current Status:
The development team is currently investigating, going through feedback, and looking at reported issues. Some issues have been identified and are being tested in isolation of the patch. There is more work to do before details can be given.

Watch out for assassins creed if im not mistaken it requires a cd key which you need to register to play the game and only one person can register it.

Hmm, let's look at the games I've played this last couple of years...

Really recommended...

Splinter Cell: Conviction
Mass Effect 2
Halo Reach
F1
Bioshock 2
Brutal Legend
Fable 2
Beatles Rock Band
Batman: AA
Gears 2

Kinda recommended:

Alan Wake
Halo: ODST
Red Dead Redemption
Red Faction: Guerilla

I can't seem to get back into Gears of War the scripted movements and cover system feels really clumsy and cumbersome after playing months of FPS.

I can recommend Resident Evil 5 Gold edition. The 360 version does have a bit of a screen tear issue though which even persists during the final 2D part of the film style credits.

Mass Effect 1/2 + the DLC
Batman: AA
Red Dead Redemption
Forza 3
Dead Space
MW2, could wait for Black Ops
Halo 3
Halo Reach

I'm seeing a lot of love for Alan Wake, it's something I've wondered about but never looked at.

Mass Effect 2 is going on the list, along with Forza 3.

Bioshock 2 - I'm wondering about this one.. I only played the demo of the 1st one, and seeing as there's a third in the pipeline, should I play the first before the second?

Gears 2 is probably unlikely - I did play the first one, but never really drew me into the game for some reason.

Mirrors edge has been rented and played, good game :)

So;

Mass Effect 2, £10
Forza 3 £7.50
Alan Wake £13.50
Bioshock 2 £7
Assassins Creed II
Darkness
Burnout Paradise

£59 for those! Bargain.

You have to play Bioshock before Bioshock 2. It's the law.

Mate Alan Wake is amazing I completed it the other day you get free DLC included with it if you've brought it brand new.

Try to have a look at Red Dead Redemption if you can.

Also play Bioshock before the second one (I broke the law).
