They do.
Do they do a car cradle like this?
I've had one of these for a week and I'm very happy with it. I use it for my Desire, albeit one with a black hard case on it and it works perfectly well. You only have to place it on the sticky surface and it will stick. No force is needed. Removing it takes about a second, although it obviously takes a bit more force to remove it than lifting it off a cradle.
For me, I'm going to use it at work where I can read some ebooks while working. I'd imagine it would be a hassle for anyone that takes a lot of calls on their phone - thus having to unplug USB and remove from stand frequently. For the occasional call it's ok.
Note - For texting/emailing - there's actually no reason to remove your phone - because you can rotate/angle up + down + left to right, it's very easy to type while the phone is mounted on the stand.
It's quite ok, takes alittle tiny bit of pull force but it's good and fine to pull off. It's strong and I have pulled my rubber case off and the phone come out the case so I just take it out of the case instead of pulling the hole phone off lol.
If you require to phone someone fast or recieve calls then this stand might not be for you. But for texting it's brilliant.

Was wondering with the sticky pad being so strong if I were to use it on an iPhone which has a back protector film, would that rip off the film?
I just bought the car one. I don't see why I couldn't use it on a desk either![]()
I hate my car one. So inconvenient when the sticky fails and you need to wash it
Biggest load of crap i have bought this year.
