Swapping a GTS240 for a 5770 good deal?

My cousin is getting ****ed with ATI drivers and he wants a Nvidia card he said he will swap it for my GTS240. :cool:

I think this is a pretty good deal for me what do you think?
 
Probably yea..... the 5770 is similar performance to a 4870.

I beleive a 4870 is similar to a 260 in terms of power....

But maybe someone else can tell you better than I.

the GTS240 isn't the best of cards, the 5770 would definatly be better, and u'll get DX11
 
Well it will be my first ATI card; always been a Nvidia boy.

I have an i7 920 @ stock and I game at 1920x1080, I will be gaming at 1920x1200 soon (getting a Dell Ultrsharp U2410).

Whereas he has an AMD Athlon X2 6000+ and 2gb RAM and games at 1600x900 so I reckon hes bottlenecking the card anyway and wont notice any difference between the two cards.
