M5 worth buying

I get the horrible feeling that by the time i can afford an M3, it will lbe sold that it wont be worth owning due to all the hassle, like the early E39 M5s are now :(

Thats the case for most people, though - these are very high end cars after all. We can't all have high end cars, just like we cant all have a £2m house or a big Yacht.

The rest of us can buy the normal ones instead :)

Ain't got no Flying Spur no more. Ain't got no V8 Jaaaag no more. Something about sleeping on the cold hard ground and been a back door man, etc.


I wasn't born bourgeoisie y'know, my Dad was an HGV mechanic for British Gas when I was born ...although he did actually have a Daimler Six at the time aswell as a Ford Grenada ...although the engine in that blew up on the motorway one day (the Ford) :p ...he didn't use the Daimler so much as it was rather pricey to run.

I'm not sure how he got the Daimler tbh ...not a cheap car by any means. I remember he had a Jaguar XJ6 a little later too, when the Daimler had been sold and the Grenada had been sold for spairs or something.

Edit: Oh actually thinking about it now I do know how he did it, because my Mum used to work then too, she actually earned more than my Dad at that time and paid the mortgage. Funny how things work out in the end though, never quite like you expect or think they will.

I just have a few of them saved as I liked it them so much, I can post the rest up here if you want? I do like the e90 M3 lookwise, but I will always prefer the e46. A black CSL is my dream car :o
