HTC Desire Sodtware Update - Should I?

We have two Desires in our house, and they are both on Froyo. Recently both have advised that there is a 25Mb update available. I have a nagging feeling that somewhere I've read that this update causes issues and should be avoided. Has anyone updated their Desire with this update, and is it safe?

Think my dad just updated to this, still seems to work which is a plus.

It's fine, this update was actually pulled a few weeks ago due to issues but now it's okay.
