Yup plain chicken isn't nice. It has to be flavoured and battering it with a breadcrumb and salt and pepper (not to mention all the modifiers) coating just doesn't do it justice.

Honestly you should probably read the thread, it's been quite illuminating, and has dispelled several unfounded beliefs I had about cheap meat.

Nope. They may have some additional added and more injected/tumbled water but it will not be a pink/red mess.

Cheap value stuff will be formed from mixes but it will be breast meat still.
