Don't think this breaks any rules!

I'm needing a room for a short term basis (initially 3 weeks) (perhaps medium to long term depending on how the job works out) in the Aberdeenshire area (close to Fraserburgh would be best) immediately.

Just wondering if anyone on here is after a lodger or anything.
Tried the usual websites with little success.

Cheers.

One of my friends went to college in fraserburgh/peterhead (cant remember which?)
He stayed in a b+b through the week and came home at weekends. Dont think it was too expensive.

Depends on the price KaHn, if it works out OK when the petrol prices are taken into consideration then Aberdeen is a possibility.

And indeed, Fraserburgh isn't great but it's a good job.

It can't be a coincidence that Brewdog are hiring at the moment, can I ask what position you've started? I know someone who has recently had an interview with them.

Assistant Brewer. Had a one day trial. Then got asked to do a 4 week trial. Just finished the first week of that last week. B&Bed it all last week but that's not cheap.

Are you just coming in with home brewing experience then? That's pretty cool :). The person I know is going for a brewer job and is supposed to be doing a 3 day trial soon.

I don't have any room, but good luck to you with the job. I seriously thought about applying, but couldn't really take a drop in wages with the commute as well.

Pretty much Vixen, some of it is documented on here.

Ace, I see what you mean. I've just been sitting about for the last few years at uni not really doing much apart from drinking and brewing. This seemed like it could be a good opportunity so giving it a go. Just taking it week by week, the Fraserburgh thing is a right pain but I bought a big car so I can always sleep in that! :D
It's quite different to working in an office or a dead end shop like a lot of my friends are doing.
Did those hops get to you alright?

Yeah man, not a problem with them. I'm going to get a couple of brews on on Friday too. I'm very interested in the Brewdog pub that's opening up in Aberdeen,.

Ahleckz, you would probably be better off B&Bin up there than paying Aberdeen flat prices.

For instance I pay 800pcm for a 2bed flat (bills/council tax not included)

It's open, it used to be Musa art cafe, haven't been in yet out of protest as Musa was one of my favourite resteraunts around here, even tho its about 20m away from my flat :)

Sounds like your perfect job Ahleckz, hope it all works out. Bit of a downer that its in Fraserburgh though!

Not got any room though, tiny single bed flat here :p

I thought the Brewdog bar was going to be in the Marischal? Where abouts is it?
