Not a medical advice thread!

I was just wondering what sort of split there is between people who are on medication for something and those who have never been.

I've never had anything other than a short-term course of something, say antibiotics for an infection, but know people who have had stints using anti-depressants, some who take medicine to treat skin issues, and others who take something to help balance their hormones due to suffering from PCOS. A poor mate of mine has a cocktail of things to take as he is a Chrones sufferer.

Answer anonymously or not.

Dons, could this please be polled?

1. I have never had anything other than short-term treatment for illness.
2. I have been on a course of something specific at some time for a longer term (1+ years)
3. I currently am on a course of medication for something physical/psychological.

Not sure if it counts but ive been having to use some oil/cream that the doctor advised for the last year. Its just to reduce the scar on my nose where a sword punched through it. Other than that its mainly short term i.e. tooth infection drugs for a week before they could pull it.

Cosplay is dangerous huh? :D

The sword had hands?! That's overpowered!

Seriously though, props for a manly-sounding wound. Unless it was cosplay, of course!

Was on asthma meds for years as a child, but that's pretty much abated. Also spent over a year on anti-depressants a couple of years back.

Long term drugs for my kidney failure.
Will be on more long-term anti-rejection drugs when I get my transplant.
