3. Drugs for the rest of my life. Only one pill a day with no serious side effects (well, other than death if you are allergic, but thankfully I wasn't :)) so not all that bad.

2.

6 month course of treatment for Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia when I was 2. Got chickenpox during the treatment and due to the drugs killing off my immune-system had to stay in hospital.

Good times.

Thanks for the poll if it was you, and if you are answering and mean you've never had any medication, then that is meant for option 1 as well.

Ah ok - no it wasn't me but I wasn't sure where it came under. I shall add my entry to the poll.

I've taken aspirin/etc and over the counter medication... but never taken prescribed medication if that's what you meant? I've hardly had so much as a cold :o

I'm assuming you wouldn't count oral contraceptives in this (if they are being used for contraception only rather than for any other benefit)? If so then 1.

Yes, getting pregnant might be a medical condition that we want to avoid, but that isn't the same as having treatment for something. ;)

Just my asthma pumps. Always suspected I had asthma of some sort as I've had breathing issues since I was about 15. Officially diagnosed last year at the age of 29 following my first serious-enough-to-warrant-hospital asthma attack.
I've always just sort of put up with it until then but I could hardly breathe and finally decided to get it looked at.
