Hello,

I'm about to change from a single 19" Monitor to two 24" Monitors. I currently have a Vapor-X 5770 Overclocked Edition card, It runs my games perfectly at the moment, but Im a bit concerned that when running two 24's it may struggle with games or movies etc.

Im thinking of upgrading to a 5850 so that I can keep fairly decent FPS's, I'm basically wondering which card would be best for what I need?

I currently have this Motherboard (Asus M4A88TD-V)

I want to replace it with either of the following,

Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 5850 Vapor-X 2048MB GDDR5
Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 5850 Toxic 1024MB GDDR5
Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 5850 Vapor-X 1024MB GDDR5

Im keen on getting another Vapor-X as I've had one before, I also like the idea of the 2 GB Card but can't seen any reviews anywhere about it?

Any opinions would be appreciated, Thanks!

If a new card is released, Are we expecting the current cards to drop in price?

It's unlikely, I think OCUK have said that the HD5850 is EOL already so unless the board partners pass on discounts (which is unlikely as prices drops come from AMD) there won't be any price drops. Hopefully though the news 6000 series will be better value for money then the 5000 series and the 6000 series will lower prices in the 2nd hand market.

They are already dropping, look at this, has to be a good price for a 5870, but if it was me I'd wait for the 6*** series though there will be the usual price gouging for a while.:)
