Hi All,

Just doing the usual random browsing of PH classifieds and have been looking at MX5s, MG TFs, MR2 Roadsters etc. These all fall under £3k but only have 2 seats. Are there any four seater convertibles that fall in this price bracket?

306 :)
I liked mine, would buy again.

Astra cab / 3 series (potential dog) / saab

Loads of nasty stuff tbh, ancient 3 Series, junky French stuff etc.

Buy an MX5, get more money or buy a saloon or coupe :p

For the lols:

This TBH. Having a more detailed look around and this is spot on. The Saabs are hideous beyond belief. The Astra is a reasonable shout for the money I think but it's missing the bits that make the MR2, MX5 or MG TF appealing for a fun thrash about car. I'm really surprised at Saab love though. The Megane, Golf, Astra, old old Celica, and the e36 cab are all more appealing than the Saab imo.

You don't buy a 4 seated cab if you want the 'thrashability' of a 2 seated sports car remember :p

How on earth can saabs be hideous beyond belief if you're ok with an astra?

Fair enough if you don't like them, but it's a bit strange! Fwiw I think I was the only one expressing Saab love, I'm a bit of a Saab fanboy

All power to the Saab!

Them Stags still look lovely i had a white one of those with the chrome sills :)

I was going to say 306 the cabs look very nice imo

Then again I'm ever so slightly biased as I have a gti 6
But they handle well and come in 2.0 form
There pininfarina styled too I think

3k should get you a very nice low miler too

Sup bros, I was looking at 911 turbos and now I'm after something with 400bhp and have the prestige badge but its got to be a proper 5 door saloon because I have a dog and 6 kids, budget <£80, could stretch to £85 if I don't purchase cigarettes tomorrow.
