So .. custom formations?
Any one worked out a good one yet? :(
Used to play with Liverpool or Villa, now playing with At. Madrid.

Used to play a sort of 4-4-2 with the wide men playing narrow, but getting back out wide when defending and FB's pushing up. One big 'target man' as ST and a smaller guy as CF.

Doesnt work anymore :( No one has the stam to keep running up and down all game on the flanks.

Cant seem to find a formation which works for me :(

RDR is a brilliant game! It's just boring as hell when you have to ride across a map that is twice the size of San Andreas, on something that is twice as slow as the BMX, and with no radio stations.

Spotty Ronaldo is pure mother****ing win. I'll have to try fat (afro) Ronaldo later on. Who does he play for?

Standard 4-1-2-1-2, two midfielders float out wide and give you width. Works quite well for me!
 
Well I have an issue with firewalls apparently. It is showing as restrictive.

I am on NAT 2 with O2 as my provider.

Opened all the ports as suggested yet still having issues with connecting to certain people.

I can play online fine but it's not much fun if I can't with my friends.

Anyone else having any issues or have a solution?
 
ping pong forward to someone then they just run towards the corner and then they dont cross they always ALWAYS cutback and cross FFS and my ai controlled team are the worst shower of sunday league muppets you would not believe how idiotic it is... its soo bad its broken... i hate career mode now... because unless you play as the rest of the team then you dont have a chance...

oh yeah i got injured in a match stupid manager didnt take me off despite being badly injured (my player is lying on the damn sidelines not moving u muppet! I eventually get up and limp onto the pitch with injury icon and no stamina....SOO ANNOYED!

yes for some reason in career mode your teammate AI is terrible.

online your teammate AI like in Pro Match mode is vastly better? how can there be such a gulf between the two?

and like i said, they never sub you on, or off the pitch. you're there and your there to stay.

I don't think they have to worry about accommodating a small market of players with the response that EA got from this game in the opening weekend.

but what would be the harm in exploring modes like 'First to 3', or 'best of 5' in terms of match time length or havign a series of matches etc? i just think that the ea guys and pes guys are lacking that bit of innovation.

and wy not 5 or 6 aside? it would be awesome and fifa used to have something similar with the indoor thingy. like i said if you could recreate your real life 5 aside team and kit colours and enter it into a league online and get your whole team involved would that not be the most gratifying thing ever?

5 a side would be interesting. But I still wouldnt like first to 3 or best of 5. It would really disolve the actual game into some thing more child friendly. If I buy a football game then I expect a proper game of football and not some hybrid version of it.

Playing randoms is annoying at times but I wouldnt want to change the game to accommodate them.

whats wrong with a best of 5 series onoine? people do it anyway its just not recognised as a best of 5 tournament by the CPU u just have to keep re matching the same person in individual matches? hell if they let you do a home and away 2 leg affair online even that would be better than not having the option at all?

just because the optin is there doesnt necessitate that YOU use it. but others might appreciate it and then it would keep those people away from you allowing you to enjoy the modes that you prefer.

the core fifa elements would remain it would just add extra online options that might be more fun to play.

like in mario kart its about racing to a chequered flag but for enjoyment online they offer like battle mode and things.

i cant see how it would detract from the core experience but i think it would add some needed flexability to please all the players of the game.
 
God the pro ranked match online is soooo annoying, takes ages to get into a decent game and then some idiot just picks the "Any" option where you select you want to play and they take over the whole team! how are you ment to win when there are less then 5 of you guys on a team using your pro against another team that has somebody playing as everyone man! really angers me sooo much as your AI is crap!
