Hi

Can anyone suggest an alternative to maximucsle Cyclone. I understand a lot of people on here think its crap but that isnt what i want to hear as it gets me the right results. What i do understand however is that your paying for a brand name and i was wondering if anyone has any suggestions of an alternative which may be a little cheaper as £69.69 a 2.7 kg tub is quite expensive

Cheers

Cyclone worked wonders for me when I first started out, I took it for 9 months solid. Probably the worst tasting shake ever created (in all flavours) but that is irrelevant. Because of the of the results I considered it value for money.

5 years on, I just take a protein supplement (reflex instant whey) three times a day to achieve my protein macros for the day and I'm still seeing steady gains.

I know everyone likes to bitch about it on here and i understand you are in a way paying towards a brand name but i know a lot of very well built people that swear by it and its defentley getting me results.

Think i might do another month and see how i go and then look at something a bit cheaper

The only downside is it has caused my skin to breakout quite badly over the last few weeks but im happy to accept that for the moment. In regards to taste i was warned but i dont find it that bad

People swear by it because they want to believe that it is worth all that money they pay. That is all.
Similar products are cheaper and will taste a little different, but that's all.

Of course, it's better than the cheap **** you can buy off the shelf in holland & Barrett, which might be all these people are comparing against.

Phd Synergy is something similar but no idea how it prices up against Cyclone. Their supplements do taste amazing though and can vouch for that!

Never used anything like this though as I'd rather just buy the special ingredients in bulk and then eat more as it is essentially just calories with a few added sups.

Synergy ISO-7 Ingredients:

PhD Synergistic Protein Blend (Whey Protein Concentrate , Whey Protein Isolate) , PhD Muscle Volumising matrix (Micronised Creatine Monohydrate, Micronised L-Glutamine, Taurine), Fat Reduced Cocoa Powder, Maltodextrin, Dextrose, Dietary Fibres (Acacia Gum, Chicory Inulin), Fructose, Olive Oil, Sodium Carboxymethylcellulose, Xanthan Gum, Flavouring, Mineral Blend (Magnesium Oxide, Zinc Oxide), Vitamin Blend (Ascorbic acid, Vitamin E, Pyridoxine), Sweetener (Sucralose), Methoxyisoflavone

Nothing amazing in it. Less than 2 grams of Taurine, l-Gluatmine and Creatine.. Possibly something from their 'test booster' as the name of one of the last ingredients looks familiar to the name of the product.

PhD Synergy is a great option.

The best all-in-one out there atm (imo) is Boditronics Profusion Reloaded.

What results is it getting you? Not being flippant I'm interested in how you know what results your getting. :)

all he does is drink a shake and his muscles instantly double in size, its quite amazing what these shakes can do nowadays

when it comes to protein most of them are the same, just buy whatever you want to, it would be wise to go for cheaper stuff though, like myprotein or bulkpowders

Cyclone must be laughing. All they do is, what, stick a bit of creatine and taurine in their powder and sell it for £30 per kilo? Nice.

dude theres at least 300 alternatives, if you want a branded product go to

and have a look around.ive been using them for over 4 years and they are great and cheap for branded stuff.

if you want to go even cheaper then go to the non branded places mentioned above.
