I rarely get into online FPS games. I notice this has got a single player mode, is it any good? I will play online when I can but I dont know if I will get into it as much as others. What is the online mode like? Is it basically you play with 3 computers until a human takes over one until all 4 players are human players? Are the "random player" servers any good? Etc etc...?
 
Didnt even rate L4D, yet I've bought this to give it a go.. Again, to see what all the fuss is about.

Any OCUKers up for hopping on mumble/ventrilo and having a go tomorrow night?

Yes, the bots are very good, and even better than the L4D1 bots, who you had to drag around the map (in my opinion).

If you play online, you can either join an existing game with other people, or start your own, and other people might join in later. Random players are okay, but it's always better if they have mics or are friends. My experiance is that griefers are rare exceptions, and everyone is friendly and eager to play (unless you try Versus mode, which is the very devil's armpit of teenage unforgiveness of n00bz).
 
hey guys, i've done me shopping and left with 6 quid and a few pence, wondering which LFD to get, first or 2nd?
any suggestions would be great :)
 
Hmmm, I have L4D but not L4D2. If anyone is doing a four pack, link it here. Works out £3.80 something. Can't justify it for much more when I haven't finished L4D yet, but it's a good deal!

Yup, I would like a four pack L4D2 @ £3.80 :-) (if anyone is doing it lol). Think I'll have to check the members market though!! (Heading to the wanted section now!! >>>> )
 
Gah this kind of pricing is really tempting, but the same thing happened with the first game and after buying it I must have played it about three times.

Must resist....

Not sure, I may just plump for getting a single copy if it's a pain in the butt to do.

i'm not sure either, think 1 person buys, then sells the other 3 licences to other people who wanted in at the price they want, ( which is usually less then a single licence lol )
