Hi all, need advice for a case similar to the Antec 1200 for example, the front hdd cages can be removed to allow air to flow in through the front and through to the back, 2 fans at the back exhausting and space for 2 double radiators, 1 front and one top and a nice window. Seen thousands of cases and reviews and closest ive come 2 is Antec 1200 but do not like the fact it has no motherboard cut out, nor the PSU ventilation and old metal screws to hold things in place. Any alternatives in that price range?

Cosmos S - Has no window, do not fancy modding
Haf 932 - Only one back fan and front fan, space for only 1 set of rads
700D - Only problem it has no window, otherwise love it, yet again do not fancy modding and do not have additional funds??

Any others for suggestion?

Wow the TJ07 is exactly what I am looking for with the window and rad at bottom is very usefull but the price is nowhere near the budget of approx 130-150 max. Any other alternatives in that price range that match the TJ07 features?

No window

Silverstone TJ09B is under your budget.

Dual rad in the front?

Lian Li A70 would give you what you are after.

No window

He doesn't want to mod the case. Its an interesting dilemma.

What about:

Xclio / Meridian Technology Blackhawk Black Tower Computer Case £81
Akasa Infiniti ZOR Black Tower Computer Case £80.95
Coolermaster HAF X Black Tower Computer Case £146
Lian Li PC-P50R Armorsuit, Black, Aluminum Gaming Case, Red Interior £164

None of them cases that personally appeal to me but I think they tick all the boxes although I can't guarantee what thickness of radiator you can fit in the top :)

I would really recomend the FT02 or RVO2, the latter comes in well under your budget.

As both cases have the same layout, you can fit a full phat 360mm rad in the bottom with not problem at all, with the option of adding a 120mm rad at the top. And if you want to mod in the future you could do some lite cutting and the case could fit the massive 560mm Black Ice SR rad.

It has a window, psu cooling, thumbscrews, mb cut-out but no airflow thought the front. Pics included to show what the case can do

The bottom of the 5.25 bay area (where the hd cage is), is what would need to be cut out to fit the 560.

Hope that helps anyways :)

Cheers guys for the feedback. Well appreciated, still undecided. To make things more difficult, am not an expert in cases, its only in the last month or 2 ive been deciding to change.

So started searching and after seeing case after case, I kept thinking if only it had this and that, if only the rad wasnt in the motherboard section, if only it could take more large single unit rad, if only there was something that pulled air from the front to the back, hence the idea of 2 front fans and 2 back fans, ok so if am water cooling may aswell show it, hence wanted a window.

Yes my mind went wondering a little too much but now wish I hadnt seen the TJ07, thats the closest thing that has come to what I been looking for, ok black interior I can deal with that, front fan? Seen someone just pop the front cover off and attach a fan. Amazingly fits what I fancy, just not the price.

N.B. Biffa Id probably bite their hand off rite now if I could find that case for £120. How'd you manage? I been looking left right centre, nothing lower than 225 for the black.

Is it as good as it looks? Sleek, spacious etc etc. Cuz sometimes pictures look sleek, you get the item and its slippery, sticky hollow plastic.

Hey just noticed something, that picture of the case above, is the picture upside down or at an angle or something cuz its got its back facing up, strange, the hard drives are on the side aswel. lol thats a funky looking design aint seen before

Although am looking for something like the TJ07 "if someone knows someone selling one gimme a shout still looking" but I agree that does look good, funky and something different too

Picked my Black TJ07 up last week for £100 - it's completely spotless and unmolested as well, although no window which will cost £20 to get done.
Keep a check on Gumtree, it's where I found mine ;)

Keep looking through eBay, freeads, preloved... all the second hand sites... Cross your fingers and something good may pop up :)

Although if I find it first you're out of luck pal ;) lol

I really hate you sometimes Ben :p

But I still think my case is better, and you will too when I'm back in Noz :)

I whole-heartedly disagree, the Phantom is teh_uggz

Lolwut?

You know you love it really babes! :p

At least my case has stuff in it :D

But yeah, cases for a double rad

Plenty of choice, every haf (apart from the 912 plus), TJO7, Lian Li Armoursuit, CM 690II, NZXT Phantom, and various other ones that i have forgotten in the short amount of time taken to write this statement

Yeah been looking for a TJ07 secondhand, I got nothing. Bummer! Well does anybody know if having the radiator open in the motherboard compartment vs seperate compartment in TJ07 in the bottom would have any differences in temp? Better? Worse? Would I get the same temp? If no difference I may aswel get a cheap cheap case as running out of patience looking around like mad for 1 lol.
