So, a friend of mine asked me my opinion on opening a chinese take away/restaurant, he asked me what I think he should call it.

So I said, call it "Be hungry in 30", now, don't get me wrong, I love chinese food and I know it's a stereotype but I thought people would find it catchy and funny? I wasnt being racist??

Was i?

There's a joke somewhere here. But I don't know where it is.

EDIT: Oh ok. You should have called it Zipperhead's Velly Gook Cockroach Take-Out and then seen his reaction.

no, it's more to do with the food than the people, all the junk they throw into the takeaway stuff fills you up for a bit but not for long, while proper home-made stuff will do the job as it should, that's nothing to do with the people, just how/what they cook

It was a link between MSG and food addiction. MSG has been widely linked, or used to be, to Chinese food, especially takeaway.

If racism is pointing out facts, or making casual comments about their practices, past or present, then yes you were racist. But I disagree with that. :)
