Night out in Nottingham

I'm going to Nottingham for my birthday and i'm looking for some accomodation.

I'm looking for a largish apartment for 4/5 people for one night only. With it being a Saturday night, it may be a problem as I think most require you to stay the Friday and the Saturday.

Are there any decent places in Nottingham which meets my requirements.

My budget is £150.

If there aren't any places, can anyone recommend a decent hotel that will tolerate 4/5 drunkards strolling in at 4am?

Cheapest on there on the date I want is £175. And a few of the reviews have put me off

Dont know about apartments but stayed at a guest house fo £20 on a Friday night 1 mile form the city - £5 cab.

Nothing amazing, a clean bed and en suite bathrom/shower.
Firs guesthouse. Lots of guesthouses on Radcliffe Road.

That seems cheap. We'll drink £25 worth of booze in that hour too!

you would need more than 1 hour's free booze to stay in that **** hole

I want to stay here but you have to stay for 2 nights and it'll come to about £300!

Try travel republic. Got me an apartment for 4 people in liverpool for £41 for one night. Don't expect to be in the less rough areas though.

Probably best to consider travelodge/premier inn, everything else is likely to be prohibatively expensive.

I did this when I finished uni, it was a very weird weekend/week. Me and a friend drove up there without accomodation and hit the town, we made a bee line for the picture and piano (great place, a bar in a massive church) then some other cocktail bar where they do fish tanks followed by a few clubs etc.

Anyway we ended up meeting a load of students who put us up in their halls. Clearly this is not what your after but the memorys come flooding back.... good times, good times. Anyway we ended up staying almost a week and met some wicked people

I usually use the Park Plaza on Miad Marian Way

If you check lastminute.com and look at the "top secret" hotels , if there is a 4* listed as "20 metres from tales of Robin Hood" then you get the PP at a better rate
