Anyone currently have or have had an Aerobed?

Hoping people have some advice on how to find punctures in it as the familiar system of sticking a bike inner tube in some water till air bubbles come out doesn't really work in this situation.

So far there have been about 7 punctures, all of them in the same place (along 1 of the seams near the Valve side) but the damn thing seems to have gotten ANOTHER 1 after i fixed it last night. Problem is i don't have a clue where it is and if its a slow puncture i just can't feel it. Chances are its in the same place as everything else but i can't feel any air coming out.

soapy water in a bottle. Squirt it where you think the puncture might be. Might have to do it outside.

This, it's the best method. Use a spray bottle and make the solution very soapy. It will stick to the bed better and the bubbles will be obvious due to the soap. It's easier than using the bath tub! Just do sections at a time and have a towell handy to mop up as you go.

Hmm sounds like a plan if things get worse. Does it work for really small punctures though? Once they get bigger (usually a 3 to 5 mm line) they are incredibly easy to find by hand.

Could take a while but i guess drastic measures and all that... though i don't think doing it outside is really an option.

It works on any size, even tiny ones - you just have to pay close attention - the soap in the water makes the bubles hang around though and easy to see normally. Doing inside will be fine hence having a towel handy to mop up if you get too enthusiastic with spraying it.

*sigh* well i had another look around it and i can't feel it anyway. Not sure if we have that type of bottle/spray in the house so i'll have to check with my gf while we're at the shops...

Hopefully it will be on the same line as the other 9 punctures and easy to find, otherwise it might take a long time...
