I wonder why OcUK gamers are very quiet on this game. Anyway I'll take the pleasure of starting one....the game is to be released on 12th Oct 2010

Operating directly under the National Command Authority, a relatively unknown entity of handpicked warriors are called on when the mission must not fail. They are the Tier 1 Operators.
Over 2 million Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines wear the uniform. Of those, approximately 50 thousand fall under the direct control of the Special Operations Command. The Tier 1 Operator functions on a plane of existence above and beyond even the most highly trained Special Operations Forces. Their exact numbers, while classified, hover in the low hundreds. They are living, breathing, precision instruments of war. They are experts in the application of violence. The new Medal of Honor is inspired by and has been developed with Tier 1 Operators from this elite community. Players will step into the boots of these warriors and apply their unique skill sets to a new enemy in the most unforgiving and hostile battlefield conditions of present day Afghanistan.
There is a new enemy. There is a new war. There is a new warrior. He is Tier 1.

Looks to be the cheapest price out there at the mo.

Both PS3 (includes Frontline HD) and Xbox 360 Limited Edition versions are now £34.93 at The Hut (and Zavvi for that matter).

Go to www.walkers.co.uk. Register on there for the Rainy Days promotion, fill in the survey that pops up and you are awarded 2 points. These 2 points can then be redeemed for a 10% off The Hut voucher (or Zavvi).

Which gives you the price of £31.44.

Possible 3.5% Quidco too making it about £30.33

Finally pre-ordered this for the 360 via shopto this morning.. looking forward to it.. the vids look pretty special :)

Battlefield 3 Beta access too.. thank you very much..
 
Pre-ordered from shopto yesterday for the PS3 however it was the limited edition not Tier 1 as far as I know.

Idea is if I don't like it I can sell for when Black Ops comes out...
 
I don't think this is gonna be exactly the same as BFBC2... it looks too compact for that.. and the sniper rifles do not look as powerful (thank god!)

It looks like a perfect cross of COD and BC2..
 
The tag is youtube within the brackets [] and then /youtube within brackets [] after the video ID.

The video ID is after v= in the URL.

So the second video would look like this -> ["youtube"]9qr575ReczY["/youtube"]

Obviously minus the ""

Oh and the second image is HUGE.. might have to do a google image search for something smaller imo..

Won't it be 12th in US and 15th in UK?

I really like the look of the SP but the MP beta was pure garbage which is a shame and a surprise seeing as BFBC are developing the MP side
 
Yes release date for UK is 15th Oct can't wait another week :@

am looking forward to SP in this game, storyline looks more tempting then MP
 
anyone know about the launch of this game at supermarkets?
am really confused here guys, i need to pre-order this game but i cant decide which one to go for Zavvi or Shopto......i read some bad reviews about Zavvi for delays in pre-order delivery and i really want this game on launch day....what is the delivery time with Shopto?

Shall I wait for sales at Supermarkets?

Tier 1 is the standard version whereas with Limited Edition you get early access to MP7 , M60 , TOZ slugs and 870 Shothuns and don't forget MoH Frontline HD and BF3 beta access too.....so I say £34 worths it all :D

If this is true that would make me very happy! I've pre ordered anyway for PS3, I'll give it a go.
 
Bout time there was an ***OFFICIALLY OFFICIAL OMG!!!!!11111 Thread*** on this game

Looking forward to it, got 85% in GM magazine although from what I read it seems it's another BF2 i.e. dont buy it if you're wanting a good single player experience

But i just pre-ordered it from Shopto, i thought SP meant to be really good......:confused:
