just rebuilt into a 700d and corsair say there is space for four additional fans i have added three but i am wondering if i can mount one to the right of psu, under the watercooling grommets, any one know if i can do this?

sorry for re-post from overclocking and cooling but really need to get an answer on this one !

If you mean the partition between the psu bay and the rest then yes, it has predrilled holes for a 140mm.

I have this case and there was a 120mm corsair fan already installed there, infact the 700D i got had 3 pre-installed corsair fans. One 140mm at the rear, one 120mm next to the psu mount in lower bay and one 120mm fan in the top hard drive bay. The space for four additional fans are three 120mm fan mounts at the top of the case and space for one 120mm at the lower hard drive bay, they even provided the longer screws to mount the 120mm fan of choice in the bottom hard drive bay.

eh I don't have a bottom 120mm fan?!

I just got the case, considering putting a fan at the bottom by the PSU but if I screw it down the screws might interfere with the dust filter

I got this case a couple of weeks ago and it came with 3 140mm fans. One at the rear, one for the hard drives and one in the PSU compartment

Sorry chap, i got it wrong. The 700D comes with three 140mmm Corsair fans pre-installed. And option to install four 120mm fans. 3 120mm fans at the top and one 120mm fan at the lower hard drive bay (it fits on the side, pre drilled holes).

Yes you are correct, i just measured them.

There are no mounting points for an optional fan at the very bottom of the case near the psu; also in my honest opinion why put a fan there?, if you try to put a fan there it will trap the slide out dust filter and probably break it. Keep the 140mm pre-installed Corsair case fan near the water cooling grommets and either have it blowing air upwards or turn the fan round and have air blowing downwards. Or put a 120mm case fan in the optional case fan mounting point at the side of the secondary lower drive cage and have air blowing towards the power supply unit.
