HTC Wilfire alternatives?

Already have the Desire but interested in the Wildfire for my old man

Any other alternatives for the £200 price range?

Orange San Francisco is better in many ways to the Wildfire and can be had for £99 (or if you're with Orange, you can get it for £79.99).

You cannot fail with the San Francisco, to get something as feature packed would easily cost £200+. Also the modding community are picking up on this phone, and some nice roms will be coming out very soon.

Not sure anyone knows the exact model. Although, it seems to rival and beat in some instances phones that use Snapdragon processors, so it must be decent enough!

The Sony Ericsson Xperia X8 looks quite good which you can get for £130. Although perhaps not as good as the San Francisco spec wise, it does look better. SF looks cheap. It's only on 1.6 (x8) as opposed to 2.1, less ram etc but the average joe wouldn't care or notice.

Wildfire isn't much over £100 these days, HTC prices are falling with the new phones coming out.
