About time...Skype officially in the Android Market

Just noticed Skype was now available on Android, from the Skype site and the Marketplace.Nice looking application too.
Allows calls over 3G and WiFi.

I just searched for it randomly today and got it downloaded. Didn't realise it was never out for Android until today!

Although, for some reason there is a bug for me. In the Android Market, when I tap on downloads, it keeps saying Skype is downloading/installing. I tried deleting it, but now I can't re-download it because its stuck in between downloading and installing (the grey status bar just keeps cycling across the screen if you know what I mean).

It seems to be very good at sucking your battery dry + no video calling...

Still at least they've finally released it!

I have it on galaxy S, its not meant to work at all, but it seems to work but not to well. My friend says he can hear himself when he talks and its quiet laggy. anyone else have these problems.

Just so everyone knows it's also available for the iPhone and nokia smartphones.

I was using fring for ages with ok results but it stopped working so this is good news.

There's a list of compatible phones on the skype website and it seems that there's 3 sony ericsson phones in that list as well (probably because they run the same OS as the listed Nokia phones).
