I've been playing squash regularly on and off for many years but on Wednesday about 10 minutes in I got a sudden sharp pain on the back of my right calf as if I had been hit with the squash racquet. However when I turned round my mate was on the other side of the court and as I tried to move off I realised it was something a bit more serious.. 
Anyways - 2 hours later up at casualty and I apparently have a grade 2 torn calf muscle
Been resting it up since then - RICE and all that but I'm keen to get back to doing some exercise asap else I know I'm gonna start piling on the pounds..
My usual routine is 3 times a week down the Gym mostly Cardio on the cross trainer and exercise bike so when / how do you think I can start up again ?
Waiting on a call from Physio as well so will see what they say but keen to hear what you guys think..
