T Plate Vectra headgasket - anyone done it?

Hi,

I've going to be helping out a friend doing the headgasket on his Vectra, a 1999 T plate.

Is there anything in particular we need to know? We will of course be replacing the cambelt and tensioners as a matter of course

assuming its a petrol, its a POC should be able to do it in 4-5 hours with all the tools to hand

easy peasy fella, just make sure you plusgas the Exhaust manifold studs to remove them as they tend to shear :O

Atleast you have loads of room, im sure the altenator comes off first then lift head with inlet still attached. save ******* around at the rear to much
