Hi all,

As above about to place an order for one of these bad boys.

Price is pretty much on £600. I'm pretty sure this was the model you lot were raving about but could somebody confirm?

Many thanks,

I also got a 50PK590. Awesome for the price. Only negatives which really don't bother me much is it has some IR (image retention) and the screen is ultra reflective.

The IR issue is not too bad though and very manageable. Say your watching a channel with a logo for a few hours, when you switch the channel you will see a slight ghost of that logo still there. However within a few minutes it will go away.

As for the reflections, I just close my curtains and then the problem is gone. But if you don't want to do this, then you might as well go for a LCD.

I paid £650 for my one about a month ago now and paid £65 for 5 years warranty. If anything goes wrong they will come fix it or replace it if they can't fix it :)

I picked it up earlier this week (they didn't have the 590 in stock) for £599 and I'm really pleased. Awesome TV so cheers for the advice and good words!

I bought the same TV the other day and have to say its awesome.

Regarding the IR, apparently it gets better as you use the TV more, something like 200hours.

what the missing features of this vs the 590 and 790?
From memory DLNA and a couple of HDMI ports. Think there are others as well, if you interested I'd defiantly go for the 590.

I was put off buying one after seeing the image retention in a shop. To be fair it was no better/worse than the other plasmas on display but it completely put me off.

richer sounds do it £549 and currys will price match it. I got it the other day.

$%£*()*£$)%&)£*$%&*(£$%&(*$%£&*(

This always ALWAYS happens to me with electrical stuff. I picked mine up last Tuesday and it was £599 and now they've dropped the price.

Really angry now

Ive got the 590 and can confirm its a fantastic display, so happy i went for that over the 42 panny
